WHM FUNDAMENTALS WEEKEND

SATURDAY & SUNDAY

This experience will provide personalized teaching & coaching which is invaluable for a practice such as the Wim Hof Method. This Method has changed the lives of many for the better. I'm very excited to share it with you! The description below is the same for a group Fundamentals workshop. However there is an example itinerary at the bottom which would show the difference and progression of how things would change.

In this workshop you will learn and put into practice all three "Pillars" of the WHM; Breathwork, Gradual Exposure to the Cold, and Mindset/Commitment.

In this workshop you will learn and put into practice all three "Pillars" of the WHM; Breath work, Gradual Exposure to the Cold, and Mindset/Commitment.

History

First we will learn about the history of the WHM and explore how Wim built his practice from the ground up.

We will see how Wim's daring feats of cold endurance sparked the interest of the scientific community and eventually led to Wim's Method changing the understanding of our human biology; literally changing the school/university textbooks in the process.

We will then break for lunch where you will enjoy some fresh, unprocessed food to fuel your learning journey.

THE

SCIENCE

Next we will dive into the science and physiology behind the breathing protocols of the Method. Here you will gain an understanding of how WHM breathwork can affect many positive changes in your life from reducing inflammation to bolstering your immune system and increasing your energy levels.

Then we will move into cold theory and protocols.

Here you will learn about how cold-training affects your physiology and psychology in a very positive and empowering way.

This is where an understanding of nature and our connection to it can help to balance and strengthen ourselves against the "perpetual comfort" we find in today's society.

Balance is a key understanding in this 'Pillar'

THE

MINDSET

Mindset/Commitment will be the last part of lecture to help tie together both physical practices of the Method to help create a very real, 360° understanding of how all three 'Pillars' are tied together as one.

Cold Training

To finish and highlight your crescendo of learning and understanding, we will take our skills into nature to explore the various cold training experiences that the Anchorage/Chugiak/Eagle River/Girdwood area has to offer. Here you can explore the practice at its fullest, giving you an opportunity to test your understanding in nature, who is our best teacher.
